PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Eleven people were taken to a Salem hospital after a stabbing incident outside the Union Gospel Mission, Salem police told KOIN 6 News.
Police rushed to the area near 700 Commercial Street NE around 7:15 p.m. The 11 who were taken to the hospital have “varying types of injuries,” officials said. No further details on their conditions is known at this time.
A man is in custody.
Salem police remain at the scene and the investigation is very active.
